STAIR only teaches reading skills to our students.  However, we realize that many of our children are poor performers in math, as well.  We are told they are weak in the "concept of numbers."  This means they should physically play with things that involve counting, adding and subtracting.  Tutors use several games which do this after the child has completed the STAIR lesson.
