what grades do you tutor?

STAIR tutors 1st and 2nd graders only.

am i tutoring a group of students?

You will be paired with only one student for the remainder of the school year.

Do I have to have past teaching experience?

STAIR tutoring is completely scripted. You will be given a binder on your first day that will walk

you through, step by step, the entire lesson.

Do I need to bring anything to tutoring sessions?

All STAIR supplies will be provided for you.

what if i have questions during my tutoring session?

A STAIR site director and site assistant will be at each and every tutoring session in case you ever

have any questions or concerns.

When does tutoring end?

Tutoring runs from September-April each school year.

on what days does tutoring take place?

Tutoring is twice a week, Monday-Thursday. Each school site tutors on different days. You can

choose to tutor either once or twice a week.

what time does tutoring take place?

Tutoring is from 3:30-4:30 at all school sites.

what if i can't make it to a session?

Notify your site director as soon as you know you won't be able to make it to a tutoring session

so we can secure a substitute.
